Project Process and Timeline 

To fund this preliminary design project, ITD and the City of McCall were awarded a RAISE grant: Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity.

By spring 2027, the project team will identify the costs and specific design elements needed to bring both roadways up to highway and city standards for a potential corridor exchange. No funding has been identified for improvements to either roadway.
Project Process and Timeline: Data collection and goal setting took place from mid-fall 2024 through mid-spring 2025; concept designs followed through summer 2025; preliminary design followed through mid-fall 2026. Throughout that time the first public meeting was in August 2025 for concept design with ongoing, as needed, stakeholder and agency outreach along the way. The second public meeting is Oct. 20 for preferred preliminary design. By spring 2027, public input will have been considered and the preliminary design and environmental study will be completed. Future project phases (final design, ROW acquisition and construction) beyond spring 2027 will depend on available funding, which will determine projects size and timing.
