Downtown Congestion in Summertime
McCall experiences an influx of tourists and part-time residents during the
summer months, whose presence in downtown supports McCall economic
development. Midblock crossings currently utilize pedestrian-held flags,
and walkers cross at-will. During busy summer weekends, drivers can experience significant wait times traveling through downtown McCall due to near constant pedestrian crossings every few blocks.
